COSOTRIP – TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cosotrip (“Platform”), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, and any additional guidelines published on the Platform.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
2. Account Registration
Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process, including:
- Full name
- Valid mobile number and email
- Government ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Passport) for KYC verification
Cosotrip reserves the right to:
- Verify any submitted information
- Refuse, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts for fraudulent details, impersonation, or misuse of the Platform
Cosotrip does not permit multiple accounts for the same user without prior consent.
3. User Responsibilities
All Users (Travelers and Hosts) must:
- Comply with applicable local, national, and international laws while using the Platform
- Maintain respectful and lawful conduct with other Users
- Refrain from uploading or sharing content that is:
- Harmful, threatening, vulgar, or discriminatory
- False or misleading
- Violating the rights of third parties (e.g., copyright, trademarks)
Cosotrip is not responsible for any:
- Injuries, thefts, losses, or damages suffered during a trip
- Conduct or behavior of Users outside the scope of platform interactions
4. Host Responsibilities
All Trip Organizers (“Hosts”) must:
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate trip information including itinerary, pricing, inclusion/exclusion list, group size, and safety disclaimers
- Honor all confirmed bookings unless canceled under the selected cancellation policy
- Maintain lawful, professional, and respectful conduct during all interactions and trip execution
Hosts are solely responsible for obtaining permits, licenses, insurance, or regulatory approvals needed to operate trips.
5. Booking and Payments
Users may explore and book trips using the search and filter tools on the Cosotrip Platform.
A. Payments:
- Processed via secure third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Juspay)
- Advance payments are required to confirm a booking
- Balance payments are as per the trip schedule listed by the Host
B. Cancellation Policies:
Each trip is governed by the Host's selected cancellation policy:
- Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before the balance payment date
- Partial: 50% refund up to 1 day before the balance payment date
- Strict: Non-refundable
Platform fees and convenience charges are non-refundable in all cancellation scenarios.
Disputes related to trip experiences or cancellations must be raised promptly through the Platform’s support channel.
6. Content Guidelines
All content (photos, trip descriptions, reviews, etc.) uploaded by Hosts or Users must:
- Be accurate, non-deceptive, and not violate any law or third-party rights
- Not include explicit, abusive, misleading, or defamatory material
Cosotrip reserves the right to:
- Review, remove, or edit content that violates community standards
- Suspend accounts repeatedly violating content guidelines
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Cosotrip collects and uses personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- Data is used for booking facilitation, account verification, safety purposes, and platform improvement
- Payment details are processed securely by payment gateways and are not stored by Cosotrip
Users can review, modify, or delete their data per applicable law and policy guidelines.
8. Liability Limitations
Cosotrip’s responsibilities are limited to:
- Providing a neutral platform for listing and discovering travel experiences
- Processing payments and supporting communication between Hosts and Users
Cosotrip is not liable for:
- Injuries, losses, delays, misconduct, or dissatisfaction during trips
- Host non-performance or third-party service failures
- Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or government travel restrictions
Cosotrip’s total liability, if any, is limited to the platform fee charged for the disputed booking or ₹5,000, whichever is lower.
9. Promotions and Advertisements
Hosts may choose to boost or promote their trips for higher visibility.
- All content in paid promotions is provided by the Host
- Cosotrip does not guarantee results or verify the content of promoted listings
10. Termination of Access
Cosotrip may, at its sole discretion:
- Suspend or restrict user access for violations of these Terms
- Terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, harassment, impersonation, or repeated policy violations
- Delete accounts inactive for more than 12 months
Users may also voluntarily deactivate their accounts at any time.
11. Future Services
Cosotrip may introduce new services in the future, including:
- Travel insurance options
- Marketplace for travel gear or merchandise
- Premium profiles or memberships
Each new service will be governed by separate or updated terms upon release.
12. Amendments
Cosotrip reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time.
- Users will be notified of major changes via email or app notifications
- Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Users agree that any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India
- Cosotrip encourages informal dispute resolution via support@cosotrip.com before initiating formal proceedings
