If you've been staring at paragliding videos and telling yourself "someday", this Bir Billing paragliding trip from Delhi is where someday actually happens. You’re at Billing on day one, the second-highest paragliding takeoff point in the world, strapped in and running off a cliff before your brain has fully caught up. That 15-30 minute flight over the valley and the Dhauladhar range below you, is a surreal experience you’ll never forget. The evening back in Bir feels earned. Bonfires, Tibetan cafés, monastery views, and a sunset from the landing site that the whole valley seems to stop for. Rajgundha Valley is the part most people have never heard of. It’s a semi-tribal village sitting quietly above the treeline, completely untouched by the kind of tourism that puts places on Instagram. Terraced fields, local homestays, mountain silence, and a sky so clear at night it feels almost unfair.
