Arrive at Guwahati Airport (Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport) by noon and proceed for checkin. Relax and refresh for some time and proceed to Brahmaputra River Cruise. Enjoy High Tea on deck with live music while you sail through the scenic riverfront. Overnight Stay at Guwahati Hotel.
Today you may visit Kamakhya Temple early in the morning. Post breakfast, proceed to Tezpur. This 5 hrs (185 km) drive from Guwahati would itself be a scenic experience passing through tea plantations and the Kalia Bhomora Setu built over the mighty Brahmaputra. We will have lunch on the way. Check-in on arrival at Tezpur and spend evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tezpur hotel.
We will start early in the morning for Dirang (at 5000 ft and 200 km from Dirang). Keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular view of snow caped mountain range. Arrive and checkin to your hotel. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Today first on our list would be the beautiful Sangti valley. Spend some leisurely time here at the bank of Sangti river surrounded by the towering ranges of Eastern Himalayas, blessed with pleasant weather round the year, covered with fruit orchards (kiwi fruit, apple, apricot, orange), dotted with pristine forests and meandering fast hill rivers and home to a very interesting culture and tradition. It’s about 15 kilometres from Dirang. Post lunch visit the beautiful Dirang monastery on the hilltop and admire the astonishing view of evergreen mountains around you. Overnight stay at Dirang.
After breakfast transfer to Tawang (6 hrs drive). Visit Sela Pass at an altitude of 4170 m / 13700 ft. This region is famous for high altitude lakes! Continue the drive to Jaswant Garh War Memorial a memorial of the brave Indian soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat. Arrive and check in the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Tawang.
After Breakfast visit Tawang Monastery (Namgey Lhatse), it is the largest monastery in India and second largest in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Tawang Monastery is known as Gaden Namgyal Lhatse in Tibetan, which translates to "celestial paradise in a clear night." It was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1680-1681. This is a major tourist attraction in Tawang. Post lunch, we will visit the Khinmey Monastery, the main prayer hall of this monastery is covered with fantastic, brightly coloured murals of hundreds of deities and presided over by the fierce-looking Buddhist sage Padmasambhava, flanked by his Indian and Tibetan wives. Later we will visit the Tawang War Memorial, a tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1962 Indo-China war. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant cultural show showcasing the traditional music and dances of Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Today get ready for some high Altitude adventure as we proceed for our journey post breakfast to Bum La Pass (Indo-China Border). Witness some high altitude lakes amongst which the most famous and sacred is Sangestar Lake. Considered sacred by Buddhist of both India and China. It got famous post Maduri Dixit shot here for the film Koyla. Proceed to Bumla pass known as the escape route for Dalai Lama when he entered India from Tibet. 15,200 ft above sea level it stands close to the Indo-china border. A historical route as the People's Liberation Army of China invaded India during the 1962 Sino-Indian War via this route. Experience the thrill and proceed back to Tawang hotel for a good night sleep.
After Breakfast proceed for Dirang. On our way to Dirang we will take a pit stop at Nuranang falls, It is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in this part of the country, yet is unknown to many travelers. There is a small hydel plant located near the base of this fall that generates electricity for local use. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Early breakfast and proceed to visit Bomdila Monastery, it is one of the most prominent centers of the Lamaistic faith of Mahayana Buddhism. A replica of the Tsona Gontse monastery at Tsona in southern Tibet. Lunch is on the way and we will resume our journey to Tezpur. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Tezpur hotel.

Our Refund Policy: What can be refunded? Some tours may require a minimum number of travellers to operate. The affected traveller will be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Any additional refunds based on extenuating circumstances will depend on the individual tour operator. What cannot be Refunded? All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure will not be refunded. No refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveller after tour departure regardless of circumstances. Airfare is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare is included in the final price. Hotel extensions and Instant Confirmation products (admission tickets, city passes, etc.) cannot be exchanged or refunded once confirmed.
