Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, India
Loading Map...
Banaras – also known as Varanasi or Kashi – is one of the world’s oldest living cities and one of India’s holiest pilgrimage spots. Sitting on the banks of the Ganga in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, it’s a place where spirituality, chaos, devotion, music, aartis, and everyday local life all mix together on the ghats. You’ll see pandits doing rituals, devotees taking a holy dip, sadhus meditating, students rushing to BHU, shopkeepers shouting in the narrow lanes, and vendors serving hot kachori-sabzi – all at the same time. Banaras isn’t a “perfectly arranged” city; it’s an experience you feel with all five senses.

Itinerary
Arrive in Kashi and let the spiritual journey begin (Today we will feel the energy and vibes of Varanasi). Check-in at your stay and have lunch or breakfast on your own, depending on what time we reach Varanasi. Later, we will have an intro and briefing session, followed by fun games led by your trip leader- cum-friend from host. Now let’s start our day with ghat hopping, but before all this we will go New Kashi Vishwanath temple BHU where we will feel the positive energies all around. After that our first stop will be Godowlia, where we’ll try Banaras’ famous thandai before heading to the ghats. Next, we’ll stop at Dashashwamedh Ghat for the mighty Ganga Aarti, which is known worldwide as the famous Banaras Ganga Aarti. We’ll take our spots and witness the best aarti of our lives, surrounded by the sounds of Ganga and Mahadev chants, the energy we’ll feel there is insane! Afterwards, we’ll head to Godowlia for some street food hopping. Enjoy the flavors of Banaras with a delicious local dinner before resting for the night.
Witness the most divine night in India, Banarasi style. Start your day with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for what’s ahead. Later, we’ll have our Cry and Happy Session (a secret activity that we won’t reveal until the moment comes!), this will be a unique surprise for you. Since today is the very long day, we’ll head out in the afternoon, followed by lunch. Remember, today is photography day, so make sure your phones and cameras are fully charged for capturing the most memorable night of your life. Dress in your finest ethnic wear, whether it’s a saree, suit, or kurta for an unforgettable evening. We will watch ganga arti again and will head towards some of the old galiyaan of banaras. Later we will head towards Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan and to see the most famous and divine sayan arti. End this magical evening with a delicious dinner before heading back to the hotel to rest, we have an early start tomorrow!
Rise early to experience Subah-e-Banaras, the famous morning Ganga Aarti at Assi Ghat, capturing the peaceful beauty of the river at sunrise. Next, we’ll head for a boat ride from Assi to Panchganga Ghat, taking in the stunning riverside temples and enjoying a photoshoot with the Siberian birds (one of the most dramatic moments. Everyone’s waiting for that perfect picture with the siberian birds, haha!). We’ll ride from Assi Ghat to Namo Ghat and then back to Panchganga Ghat. Later, we’ll visit the Kaal Bhairav Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Dham, followed by a traditional Banarasi breakfast of kachori-sabzi from the street. After breakfast, we’ll explore Banaras ki galiyan (the famous narrow lanes) for a photoshoot. Return to your stay and rest for a while. In the evening, we’ll go temple hopping, visiting Sankat Mochan, Tulsi Manas, Durga Mata, Tridev Temple, and Bal Hanuman Temple. Later, we’ll head to ghat and sit for a while, take time to breathe and relax and spend some me time. After a long day, we’ll return to our stay and call it a night.
