After arriving in Punakha, explore the Suspension Bridge and Punakha Dzong – the second oldest and one of the most iconic dzongs in Bhutan, which served as the country’s capital and seat of government until the mid-1950s. Begin your hike towards Tiger Nest through the lush greens and breathtaking views of mountains. After reaching the beautiful Taktsang Monastery, enjoy the rich heritage of this Buddhist spiritual site and the jawdropping view it offers. Drive to Chele La Pass – Bhutan’s highest motorable road at 13,000 ft, offering breathtaking Himalayan views including the sacred Mount Jomolhari, surrounded by rich flora and fauna.
