Ladakh is already one of the most extreme landscapes on earth. This 7-day Ladakh trip with Hemis Festival adds to it, and suddenly you're not just chasing mountains anymore, but also witnessing the cultural side of "the land of high passes". This Leh Ladakh trip package with Hemis Festival puts you inside local culture. You get to witness two full days of sacred Cham dances, monks in elaborate masks, and prayer ceremonies that fill ancient walls with sound. In rare years, a giant Thangka is unveiled that won't appear again for decades. You either witness it or you don't. Beyond the festival, the landscape does what Ladakh does best. Khardung La opens into Nubra Valley's cold desert, Bactrian camels wandering Hunder Sand Dunes with snow peaks behind them, a scene so unlikely it takes a second to process. Pangong Lake earns every photo ever taken of it. The blue shifts to turquoise shifts to silver through the day, and when the sun drops, the altitude and the darkness combine to give you a sky you genuinely won't see anywhere closer to home. At Sangam, two rivers, namely the Indus and Zanskar, collide in completely different colors.
