Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and get ready for a scenic drive to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim. The route winds along the emerald Teesta River, offering breathtaking Himalayan vistas. Upon arrival, check in and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along MG Marg, Gangtok’s lively promenade dotted with cafés, boutiques, and souvenir shops. Don’t miss trying Sikkimese momos or a hot cup of local Temi tea as you soak in the mountain ambience. Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the serene Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), a glacial lake that changes hues with the seasons and is considered sacred by locals. Its name literally means “Source of Water” in Bhutia.Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the lake’s tranquil beauty makes it one of Sikkim’s most iconic sights. Continue to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft) — dedicated to an Indian Army soldier believed to guard the mountain passes even after his passing in 1968. Pilgrims visit to seek his blessings and often leave water bottles here, said to bring good fortune and healing. If you wish to visit Nathula Pass (subject to permits and weather conditions), the same can be arranged at an additional cost. Return to Gangtok by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.
Begin the day with visits to Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok, offering sweeping views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Gangtok town. Hanuman Tok, maintained by the Indian Army, is believed to be where Lord Hanuman rested while carrying the Sanjeevani herb. Later, visit the Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, and Gonjang Monastery. Wrap up the day at Bakthang Waterfall for a refreshing end to your city tour. After breakfast, drive to Pelling, stopping at Namchi to visit the grand Samdruptse Hill, home to the 135-ft statue of Guru Padmasambhava, known as the “Wish-Fulfilling Hill.” Next we’ll visit, the Char Dham Complex (Siddheshwar Dham) which features replicas of India’s four sacred Dhams and a towering Shiva statue — a must-visit for its spiritual and architectural charm. Continue your scenic journey to Pelling and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Pelling.
After breakfast, explore Pelling’s gems — the tranquil Khecheopalri Lake, believed to fulfill heartfelt wishes, where even fallen leaves are said to be picked away by birds. Visit the Rimbi Waterfall and the magnificent Khangchendzongha Waterfall, both surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views. Later, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim’s oldest, and end the day at the Pelling Skywalk, India’s first glass bridge, offering thrilling views of the Chenrezig statue and the valley below. Overnight stay in Pelling.
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling, the “Queen of Hills,” passing through tea gardens and forested slopes. On arrival, check in and relax at your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around Chowrasta Mall Road, lined with colonial-era shops and cafés. Try Darjeeling tea or pick up locally made woollens and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Begin your day early with a sunrise excursion to Tiger Hill, where the first rays of the sun light up Mt. Kanchenjunga — truly an unforgettable sight! After returning, enjoy breakfast and proceed to visit the iconic Batasia Loop. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the lush Tea Gardens, where you can soak in the scenic beauty and freshness of Darjeeling, followed by the Tibetan Refugee Camp. Post lunch, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, known for its rich mountaineering history and stunning views. As evening falls, take a leisurely stroll along Mall Road — shop for local handicrafts and tea souvenirs, or warm up with a comforting bowl of thukpa and momos. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Bagdogra airport. Enjoy the journey with the sound of chirping birds, the fragrance of fresh mountain air, and the feel of cool breeze against your skin. The affected traveller will be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Should this occur, it would be under very rare circumstances because we try our best to accommodate travellers. Please note that the product substitute chosen by the traveller may be more expensive than the original product and therefore may be subject to an additional cost. Any additional refunds based on extenuating circumstances will depend on the individual tour operator. What cannot be Refunded? All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure will not be refunded. No refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveller after tour departure regardless of circumstances. Airfare is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare is included in the final price. Hotel extensions and Instant Confirmation products (admission tickets, city passes, etc.) cannot be exchanged or refunded once confirmed.
